FAQs for India

The Best Time To Visit India For Holidays

The best time to visit the most places in India is during the winter and spring season, between November and March. North India like Delhi, Agra, Varanasi, Bihar, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are excellent at this time of year, and the temperature in Goa and central India remain comfortable.

The hotness of south India is nevermore less than full, but it becomes suffocating in May and June. Intend to be in Kerala and Tamil Nadu from January to March.

However, of March onwards, the Himalayas become more convenient for hikers. The trekking season approaches its peak in August and September while the rains are soaking the rest of the Subcontinent.

By September, the monsoon season has mostly receded from the north, but it carries another couple of months before the clouds depart entirely from the far south. The south of Kerala and east part of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, get a second drenching from October to December and when the “northwest” or “retreating” monsoon seasons clears in from the Bay of Bengal. However, By December, most of India enjoy bright atmospheres and relatively cold temperatures.
